Information about the client's business strategy, organization, and other matters we become aware of in the process is always treated in a confidential manner. Candidates who are in a process with us should feel confident that we handle their candidacy and information (CV, test results, etc.) in a confidential and appropriate manner. Assessit contacts provided references only in the final phase of a process, and will always inform the candidate in advance.

Integrity
Assessit shall operate at all times with high integrity towards individuals and companies we are in contact with. This means that we will inform our clients or candidates if situations arise or we receive information that challenges our integrity.

Open and honest
We emphasize establishing open and trusting communication with both clients and candidates. A successful process requires that the client, candidate, and Assessit have access to all relevant information. This also applies during the assignment where we will strive for a good and open dialogue. If an assignment proves to be difficult to solve within the agreed schedule, we are open and honest about it, and we will inform the client as quickly as possible.

Loyalty
Assessit is always loyal to our clients and desires an open and trusting dialogue. In recruitment processes, our loyalty lies with both the client and the candidates. We will always strive to find alignment between the company's needs and the candidates' competence, motivation, and expectations. This is to ensure the best possible result, recruitment, and a successful employment relationship.

Laws and regulations
Assessit will at all times comply with the laws and regulations that apply to, and affect, our business.  Assessit will contribute to ensuring that candidates are treated on the basis of competence and suitability.

Privacy Policy for Assessit AS
Personal data is information that can be linked to an individual. Examples of this include name, email address, address, and/or telephone number. Assessit AS processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into force in May 2018, and in accordance with the applicable Personal Data Act and Personal Data Regulations. If there is a statutory disclosure obligation to a public authority, the registered personal data will be handed over in accordance with the authorities' requirements. By accepting our terms and conditions, you accept that the information registered about you can be used by Assessit AS. The information will be used to market products and services. Registering your personal data is voluntary. If you register your information, you have the right to access, rectify, and delete your information. If you believe your personal data is being processed in violation of the regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

Personal data is information or assessments that can be linked to you as an individual. This can be name, telephone number, email address, job title, etc. You have the right to decide over your own personal data.

Our privacy policy is reviewed regularly to ensure that it is consistent with our processing of personal data, and may therefore change from time to time.

Basis for processing personal data 

We process personal data to fulfill obligations we as a company have undertaken for the execution of assignments related to recruitment, organizational and leadership development, as well as customer administration and individual administration of participants at our seminars.

In connection with the execution of our assignments, Assessit will register information about our contact persons, the individuals who are in a process with us, and other persons associated with the contractual relationship.

In addition, we process personal data about our employees to administer payroll and other personnel administration.

 How we use personal data:

• Personal data about you shall only be processed for lawful purposes and will be deleted, or anonymized when we no longer have a basis for processing it.

• The information is used by Assessit and sent to our clients in connection with recruitment/evaluation for ongoing assignments/positions, as well as assignments related to Management for Hire.

• The information is used by Assessit in connection with counseling/coaching, development, and outplacement

Personal data will not be stored longer than what is necessary for the purpose or what is required by law.

In addition to the purpose above, we wish to provide you with information about us and our services. We also want to be able to send you other relevant information and to get in touch. Consenting to further storage is voluntary, and we will continue to use this information until you notify us that you want to be deleted, or until we find it appropriate to do so ourselves. Your rights
You have the right to request access to, updating and correction, or deletion of, personal data, or restriction of the processing, to object to the processing, as well as the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
